About Dr. Kim Lauvring

Kim has been helping people recover from complicated neurological conditions, such as Concussions and Traumatic Brain Injuries, Dizziness and Vertigo, Dysautonomia, and Movement Disorders through innovative diagnostics and customized brain-based solutions for 35 years.

Chiropractic Degree and Neurology Start

He graduated from AECC – Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 1990 and started his neurological education in 1994 at Carrick Institute.

Neurology Certification and Board Recognition

His neurology training he completed with the Carrick Institute for Clinical Neuroscience and became board certified as a Chiropractic Neurologist by the American Chiropractic Neurology Board in 1998.

Fellowship and Advanced Specializations

Then he was awarded a fellowship from the American College of Functional Neurology in 2010. He is trained in Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Movement Disorder Rehabilitation, Childhood Neurodevelopmental Disorder Rehabilitation, and Clinical Neurochemistry.

Ongoing Functional Medicine Studies

He is currently in the process of completing his certification as an advanced functional medicine clinician to earn the AFMC™ or AFMHC™ at the Kharrazian Institute.

Global Recognition & Career Journey

Career Path: From the UK to Norway

He worked from 1990 to 1996 in Hertfordshire, UK and in London. Then he moved to Norway and from 1996 to 2001 he worked in the medical integrated Center (Helse. I. Sentrum). D.C. Lauvring founded a Functional Neurology Center in 2001 in Oslo.
His practice focuses on severe traumatic brain injuries, post-concussion syndrome, movement disorders, disorders of gait and balance, and disorders of childhood neurological development.

Invited to Israel for Advanced Neurological Cases

In 2010 he was invited to Israel/ Tel Aviv, Asaf Harofe Hospital, for treatment of comatose patients and patients with other neurological deficits.

Patients from Across Europe

His patients travel to his clinic from all over Europe: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the UK, Holland and Portugal, attending his care.
